Stagecoach are consulting on bus routes in our area – an opportunity to improve links to RD&E as well as Beer-Exeter? Your opportunity to comment.

Stagecoach are proposing to route the 9A via Beer – shouldn’t they also reroute it to stop at the RD&E?  Currently older and sick people using this route have to take a second bus to get to the hospital.

There are many buses going on its current route in Exeter via Heavitree so there would be no loss of service within the city.

Also a bus between 07.30 hrs and the next one at 10.00 hrs would be much appreciated for the same reason – getting to early appointments at RDE.

Sorry to hear you not happy about t coming into Beer which is a shame as we are very much out in a limb if you cannot drive and need to go to Exeter or the hospital

Yes they should! My mum has to go to hospital every 2 weeks and it’s a complete pain, which takes so much longer than it should!

Excellent idea. It saves going by car and not being able to find a parking space. If you are not feeling too well it lessons the stress of two buses and working out the timetables so you can get to your appointment on time. I do hope Stagecoach do agree to this bus route.

I agree completely. Reductions in community health services demands better access to large hospitals.

I hope for myself and other people from Beer that the Stagecoach busses can be routed through Beer to Exeter in the future and go past the R D & E hospital. It would be so much easier. One day including going from Beer to Seaton then Exeter it took five busses to get to my appointment and return.

I sincerely hope that stagecoach don’t run through Beer. I’m not happy at all.

It’s inconvenient and time consuming. If it does start going through Beer to or from Exeter, I will go back to driving into Exeter again. I only heard about this yesterday morning, from someone at the bus stop. They said that they would start driving in too. I think most of the other people who have commented above would only be occasional users. But it will have a knock on effect to regular users in Seaton. I also think that long term of will make the service less viable.

Can it run in to Sidmouth via Fortescue (quicker) as the in/out part of Sidmouth takes an age.
