    Dear Martin

Thanks so much for the important work that you are doing to fight for Seaton Hospital.

Are you already arranging to have posters put up in Colyton or can I print off and laminate the NOTICE part of your email and put them up around Colyton on telegraph poles, etc? I will also put one up in my study window, because we get good footfall down The Butts.

Unfortunately because I am injecting with a biologic drug, I am on the NHS “at risk” group and so strongly advised against being in any locations involving groups of people. That will make it difficult for me to attend the meeting on November 3, as much as I would wish to do so.

    My very best wishes Brian

    Demolished and what after?
This doesn’t make sense…why? The hospital could be put to so.many other uses, seems absolutely ridiculous to demolish.
The government complain about not enough beds, when there is still a regularly impact on hospitals beds etc, yet they want to demolish a perfectly usable hospital.
There are so many vulnerable people who need hospital beds, be it restbite or convalescence etc.
To even think of demolishing is a terrible idea, and a sad one at that.
They will live to regret this decision, one way or another.

Four years ago my son in law was working in this area and broke his arm, he just walked into Seaton hospital and had an e ray straight away, the radiographer said she didn’t do many people as they didn’t get any referrals.
My son broke both his legs and various other things, his care package said he was to come home with me, I begged them to transfer him to Seaton hospital as my house was a building site at the time, I was having major work going on, he couldn’t even get to the bathroom or upstairs. I was told NO.

SO IS IT A CASE OF CUT THE LEGS OFF AND SAY IT CANT WALK,!

Hi Pat, I think it was probably Axminster hospital as we don’t have an X-ray department – one of the many facilities that are in other community hospitals but not ours.
