This is the group that is top-heavy with jargon-speaking managers behind the closure of community hospital beds. Can we now expect to see a re-assessment of that decision?

    Probably not. There is a meeting on 14th September of the Health and Welbeing Scrutiny Committee who will decide whether or not to ratify the Clinical Commissioning Group decision. Everyone concerned needs to write to the Chairman, Richard Westlake MBE at 12 Lower Avenue, Heavitree, Exeter EX1 2PR to register objections to the closure of Axminster beds (and Ottery).
