    The diagram indicates that Highways is responsible for verges and presumably gutters. Why then are the verges on Beer Road not cut and weeds removed from gutters?

    Who is responsible for weeds in kerbs and pavements

      Hello Stephen,
      It could be part of the national campaign to retain verges for wild flowers throughout the growing season in order to save our disappearing species. This also provides havens for other wildlife, especially bees, which we are losing at an alarming rate.
